Any player that test positive or proximity to someone who had tested positive requires any NFL player to fall into the COVID-19 protocol. The protocol rules were amended in June 2021 due to many having access to the vaccines.

In order for a return to the team and team activities, Atwell will need to be asymptomatic and conduct two negative tests over a 24 hour period.

Sean McVay says all Rams staff is vaccinated and “close to 100 percent on players.” He says team expects to have close to 100 percent vaccinated by the start of the season. Adds that Reggie Scott and Les Snead have spoken a lot with players, helped educate on info and protocols.
